When a man doesn’t listen to his wife, her gifts are at best minimized. At worst, (and possibly often) are nullified.

If (as a Christian) her gifts of the Spirit are under the authority of her husband, and not God’s leading and inspiration, their marriage can only limp along.

It might be a major reason for the failure of some marriages

The most compelling husband and wife are those who integrate their gifts, their inspiration, their ideas and “make each other” finally . . . sooner or later they begin to think similarly.

Listening with ears, heart and mind is where “two become one” . . . beautifully.
