LABELING LIMITS YOU

If you are a gifted mathematician, be the best you can be. If you are an artist, be original and creative. If you are a mother, be the best: a cerebral, giving, creative, original nation builder.

As a matter of fact, when you as a woman fear God and do His pleasure, you and every woman like you is part of building a strong nation, strong marriages and hopeful, happy families. You understand the critical decisions, prioritize them and create a fulfilling life.

You have a husband and children: putting their needs uppermost brings deep satisfaction. Like the wise woman in Proverbs 31 you might be also a business woman, artist or politician, fulfilling your gifts and potential. This wise woman had no label. Was she a wife, a mother, a business woman, a nation builder? Yes.

Her priorities were sorted out.

There are women who give up. Uninspired, they sit around the house watching yet another soap opera. They brag that they are a “stay at home mom” but do nothing to inspire children or stir admiration from anyone, especially their husbands.

But you are not her. Don’t let the world conform you by labeling you a “career girl” or a “stay at home mom” or any marker that puts you into a category. Labeling limits you; categorizing females pits us one against another.

Think originally and clearly for yourself. You are a woman, a female created in the image of God. You are an original with a persona and gifts that only you have. A wise woman does not step over anybody to reach her potential. But still she steps up and expresses who she is: giving, growing and eventually attaining her full potential.

Get a clear picture in your mind: you are potential waiting to happen.
