“Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looks well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. ‘Many daughters have done virtuously, but you excel them all’.
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.” (Proverbs 31:25-31)
When I look back, what will I have been? I was woman, wife, mother, mother in law and “Gramzie”. I still aspire to be these things.
In between times I pursued my gifts, exercise, personal goals and fun pursuits . . . but what will I look back on and be most glad of?
That I loved well the people God gave me.
Proverbs 31:25 says: “Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.”
Like beautiful garments convictions guide her every move and honor distinguishes her life. There will be a joyful future: after you sow, you reap. What will you reap?
