You may have noticed that the website may show an icon next to the address in your browser’s address bar. This picture is called a “Favicon”. It is an icon that your browser looks up when it loads the site. The idea to use an icon came from our son, Zahariah. (I, the administrator, Eric, had never thought of changing the browser image). The image (below) is a lamp that comes directly from the graphic for Julin & Company, the business we formed to handle promoting the book.

The Lamp, in turn, comes from the center of the banner you see at the top of every page. Lizzie drew both these pictures. As you can see below, the header has gone through several changes:

Have a cup of coffee. Come, let’s sit down and talk. Remember what the Bible says:
“For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.” (2 Samuel 22:29) “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” (Psalm 119:105) “For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life….” ( Proverbs 6:23:1) “For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.” (Isaiah 62:1)

About Admistrator

Eric is the administrator of this site. Most all of the posts, however, were created by Lizzie, author of Submission Is Not Silence. Sometimes I put up posts for her and forget to change the poster's name from mine to hers. I hope you enjoy and are inspired by what Lizzie writes.
